Abstract
In religious teachings, man, as the highest of creatures, needs a healthy environment for his growth and exaltation. This research seeks to describe the descriptive-analytical method of the environmental landscape in Islamic teachings and to provide effective solutions for environmental protection. Therefore, the research hypothesis is that many teachings of the holy religion of Islam and other religions regarding the universe and nature, especially the environment, have been included and mentioned as one of the divine blessings and its preservation and proper use have been emphasized. The findings show that the revealing religion of Islam has correctly stated commands and rulings regarding the environmental landscape. In the Islamic perspective, the earth is the property of God and man is God's representative on earth. The prerequisite for man's representation on earth is obedience and acceptance of the burden of divine trust. In the Islamic perspective, humans have the duty to provide conditions for peace, education, and order to nature and wildlife and to protect them with the necessary and sufficient knowledge. It is concluded from this research that humans need a lot of awareness and education in recognizing and understanding the environment so that they can understand the real and fundamental connections with the environment. Man, as the divine vicegerent, cannot deal with and use the environment around him in any way he wishes, and in order to create a desirable environment, awareness and education of the members of society seem to be important and necessary.
